Well, hello welcome to the B’Sue Boutiques Build a Line Challenge 2016 blog hop #1. I hope everyone is having a blast checking out all of the participants pages.
My name is Erin and this is my Shattered Time Jewelry blog. I’m a repeat participant this year because last year was such a wonderful experience and I would not pass up the chance to do it all again.
Here’s my line from last year.
It was called “Through the Looking Glass” my own take on a steampunk/ industrial Alice in wonderland if you will.
This year I was inspired by a piece I made for a monthly challenge over at the B’sue Creative group ( on Facebook, that’s where all the fun is). The challenge was to make a piece that was inspired by a piece of vintage jewelry.
The one on the left is a vintage piece by Joseph of Hollywood. Mine is one the right. After making it with all the parts from B’Sue Boutiques ( that’s where you get the good stuff) I thought wow this really looks like a crazy flying balloon. So when I decided to build a line this year I thought why not go with that and be inspired by the king of steampunk Jules Verne
So my theme this year is “around the world in 80 days” …. Shattered Time style that is. So I began to gather my parts and pieces. All of these are going to be parts to build this line.
Not exactly sure where it is all going just yet but as all of us work through the next few months I hope some awesome things develop!
Thanks for stopping or “hopping” by to check out Shattered Time and I hope to see you all again soon! Please visit all the other great creative people in this group by following the list below! I’m off to start my adventure!

I love your theme, Erin. It is perfect for your style. Last night my very opinionated neighbor was over here. We were clicking around the participant list and I showed her your work. She loved it…as do I. I’m looking forward to seeing all of those marvelous parts come together! You go, girl!

Erin, thank you so much for joining us again this year, what a pleasure. I know you are enjoying the class and I can tell by your work this last year that you do have the sense of it….so perhaps going thru this exercize again will just open more doors and windows. I love the way you plan your work and I do feel your line is quite cohesive, true to your own style and yet something that the customer will like. Keep up the great work, you’ve got this one! XOXO
